Individual Virtual Therapy Across Texas and Virginia

Currently serving Virginia and Texas area. 


I specialize in adults, using a range of proven therapeutic approaches, such as EMDR, Gestalt, IFS, ACT, and Body-focused therapy. 


I offer telehealth options and in person options that focus on depression, anxiety, trauma, grief counseling, and more.

EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) 


I am trained and certified to do EMDR in person and online. EMDR was initially developed in 1987 and has been rigorously researched since 1990.  It is recognized as evidenced-based treatment for PTSD and other trauma and stressor disorders in treatment guidelines published by the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, the World Health Organization, and a growing number of national and international organizations. 


Doing EMDR online is a great opportunity to address difficult memories and get one of the most studied and effective treatments from the comfort of your own place. 


EMDR therapy has been shown to be particularly helpful for people dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic memories or disturbing life experiences. 

A little more about the process

Whether you are familiar with the process or new to it I want to walk you through some steps:


  • We will start with your first session what’s known as intake. We will meet for 80 minutes to introduce ourselves; you’ll share background history and specialty of your problem and I’ll ask what brings you to therapy. 
  • I’ll give you a survey about what symptoms you’re experiencing and other indicators of your mental health, like your sleep habits, employment status and any substance use, etc. to get a fuller picture of you and your life. 
  • After intake you move on to regular 50 minutes weekly therapy sessions.  
  • There are many types of therapy available. Often, I combine and draw from multiple therapeutic approaches - from general talk therapy, CBT, DBT to experiential like Gestalt, Body Focuses, IFS, Art therapy to Trauma Focused like EMDR, Progressive counting.
